My weight today is-- wait for it --- BELOW my goal. HOORAY! Now... technically, I'm not there yet. I was wearing fewer clothes, different time of day, right after working out, etc, etc, why I haven't REALLY lost all the weight that I want to lose. But nevertheless, the 1.5 pounds below my goal have greatly encouraged me to keep going and lose past my goal. Or minimally I now think I will easily make my goal with proper clothes on, same time of day, even after eating a big meal.
And only two days ago, I was thinking this bet might be an impossible task this time, so I'll have to go for the next bet since this one is hopeless. And today, only two days later, I've dropped below the goal. Funny how that happens. I diet and diet and eat all the right things, but nothing happens on the scale. Then suddenly, after about ten to 12 days of no toxic foods (sweets and processed junk) I drop a few pounds and feel great. My advice? Don't lose your enthusiasm even if the scale doesn't move. If you eat right, you can only get healthier and in better shape. The scale will come around at some point.
So happy day. I can hold this weight now for a week and I'll be golden. Wahoo. I'll sleep well tonight. AND it all started with waking up this morning to work out with Gilad. I did one of his 30th anniversary tv show workouts first thing after rolling out of bed. Must have been my good luck charm: to wake up with Gilad. Sounds scandalous, huh. It wasn't, but it was great. :-)
