Having made my goal, I thought I would ease up.  But heck, I'm on a roll, feeling good and feeling fit, so I've set a new goal -- Ten Pounds total.   So by day 28, my new goal is to have lost a total of ten pounds.    If I don't make it, no problem, but I may as well keep going while I am enjoying this.

THANKS so much to dietbetter.   I would have never taken the time out of my busy life to make a concentrated effort to focus on my health for four weeks.  THe timing prior to the holiday parties was perfect.  Otherwise I would have likely gained 10 pounds in this same time frame rather than have lost that much. 

 

Going to another party (potluck) tonight.   I am bringing a homemade, comforting, colorful, soothing, red lentil soup.  (great for appetizer, side, or main dish)  It may be the most healthy alternative there.  

now off to my exercise routine:   Gilad for half an hour inside then off for an hour on the wooded 5 mile trail behind my house.    Or maybe I'll rake more of those endless leaves.
