As I look over the past few weeks and months I am trying to analyze what I need to do differently in order to succeed. Unfortunately it's a lot. It seems as though I have become complacent with where I currently am with my weight loss. It's not a bad thing; however I need to remind myself that this is NOT the end of my journey. Fortunately many of changes I need to make shouldn't be too difficult to make in order to achieve almost a two pound loss each week.
My changes include:
- Walking a minimum of 10,000 steps per day. I've been way below that number for quite awhile.
- Head back to the gym on a daily basis.
- No pizza. It's my biggest downfall; even more so than sweets.
- Eat more fruits and vegetables.
- Don't use ice cream as a reward.
- Keeping track of everything I eat.
- Mindset...this isn't the end
These are just a few of the changes I need to make. I've been doing some of these, but not always on a regular basis. I plan to get the 10,000 steps in by walking ten minutes every hour between 8am and 9pm. Unfortunately this will be more difficult to accomplish on the days I work at the daycare since I can't just go for a walk every hour, but it's a start and I will just have to make sure I workout at Planet Fitness longer on those days.
I look forward to seeing how this changes things for me.
