OK, so it's not so much about winning this, it's about winning in life over all...  I think most of you know that I've been a T1 diabetic for most of my life.  I've out lived most of my doctors, medical personnel and sadly enough, my friends...

I became involved in a "study" when I was 12, more kiddos get added as new advancements in the care and treatment of T1 improves.  I go back and meet with people.  Next time, my favorite person, Barb, won't be there.  She died this year, complications of diabetes.  She's one of the few closest in age to me.

While a lot have had heart attacks and amputations, death for some; I don't have anything going on, just a person who decided as a teen, I was going to kick this disease's ass.

   So, that's enough for now...
