This last week has thrown me of of my normal schedule, but I'm not letting it derail me.
My boyfriend and I lift weights three times a week, I go for a 10k run every Saturday, and ideally I like to squeeze in a 5k fun sometime during the week. Well, due to a variety of issues (sick one afternoon, sister had car trouble that lasted an entire evening, and having to go out of town for a conference), I missed one day of weights and both runs. Grr.
To make up for it, I've been very meticulous about what I'm eating. Even though I'm traveling with others, I'm still trying to keep within my caloric goal each day. I went a little overboard yesterday at a luncheon, but luckily the condo we're staying at has a full fitness center. In a very hectic day, I was still able to squeeze in a weightlifting session and a 2.5 mile run. I wish I had time for more, but I'm pretty proud that I was able to squeeze in even that in the one hour of free time that I had.
I'm not going to let a hectic time of year derail me. I'm back on track, finally losing weight again, and darn it I'm going to make my goal for December.
