And so the change begins again for all of us here. For many, maybe for most, it's just one of many many attempts and plans to lose weight- whether 100 pounds or the final hard to lose 'last ten' .

For myself, at 5'4" and 154 pounds.. I finally accepted that I should be at least 20 pounds lighter. Maybe it would be easier then to get off the floor after I've petted the cat..

And so for the first time, with the thanks of diet bet for motivation, I am going to take it seriously. Not over serious..as I do have a beer and a movie in my immediate future.. But serious enough to maybe cook again.

Being single for awhile now, it's so easy and not that expensive to grab a pre made salad on the way home.. But I expect the amount of feta and olives in my fav Greek salad is overdone, and the dressing, whoa Nellie!  Sometimes the salad ends up being one of those huge chocolate bars and a can of Pringles.. For supper and then breakfast. Wowsers.

Not only do I want to lose weight, but firm up the stuff that's left. Yes. At the old woman age (kidding) of 58 my bat wings are there.. And my stomach looks like a bowl of freshly rising dough. I used to make bread, so I know what it looks like!

I am aiming for athletic, slim, toned. It might take me a year before I can say ' I did it'. But at least now I am started!

Hea lthy food, limit the sweets( maybe 1 chocolate bar a week, a regular size one, can I ?) exercise a bit every day, and keep going!

God bless us, every one.
