This game had 105 winners in Round 5, in a pot that 397 people contributed to. That's a 26.45% win rate (a little lower than average). Normally in Round 5, a higher percentage of people win than in Round 4, reflecting people catching up with the lower goal, but this isn't the case this time. Yet another impact of the holiday parties. Winners got $35.45 each (about $0.75 more than average). People who have won each round have now made $145.51 (about $5 less than average). The game lost about 2.22% of players this round, for a natural attrition total of 9.97%. Both numbers are a bit below average.
Now for the fun projections. 140 people qualified for the final round (although this number may change a bit in the next few days). That's 31.82% of the people that started the game and 35.26% of the people who were playing in Round 5. The first number is right about average, but the second number is a little below - again, has to be the holiday parties.
If all 140 people make 10% by the end of Round 6, a winning share should be about $144. In the games that have already ended, about 83% of the people actually make it, which would bring the winning share to about $173. Good luck, everyone.
