First week down. Not too shabby. My diet has been "on point." I mainly eat fruit, nuts, lean meat, low fat cheese, tuna and spinach salads. Greek yogurt with berries at night is my bedtime snack. I am surprised because after only 3 days, I didn't miss any of the deliciously crappy food I had before. Including my morning ritual (yes, DAILY) Iced Venti Half Calf Mocha. The first few days I had to drink 2 cups of coffee to help kick the caffeine, but now I don't really need it.
I am much more energized through good nutrition and exercise than I ever was with the caffeine!
After one week, I am down about 4 lbs, but I kinda screwed myself over by weighing in at night for the weigh in. I always weigh in the morning, and that's the weight I go by. So it looks like I've lost about 7 lbs because all my weigh-ins now are in the morning. The DietBet forum is great, but I don't really care about winning the money, so while this tactic will turn out to help me on DietBet, it won't matter because I will be well over my 4% goal no matter what time I weigh!
Since weight ain't nothin but a number, the best part about this week is the knowledge - just KNOWING that I am going to do this. I KNOW I will be Whitney: Slim Version, again soon. It's just a matter of time.
3 weeks left on this DietBet, but I won't be stopping after January 29. I miiiiight cheat ONCE on that day, and then roll onward. Total goal is to lose 61 more lbs. Must keep that in reality.
