I think my experiment in giving up coffee is coming to a close.  On Saturday I had three cups, all before 3pm, and I didn't fall asleep until after midnight.  Yesterday I just had green tea, and I was a lazy slug all day.  Today I had more normal first-thing-in-the-morning single cup of coffee, which gave me enough energy to go for a jog.  So I think I'll stick with that.

I have been stuck at 62 kg for a week now.  I'm so anxious to break into the 61 zone!  I know my cheat days this weekend didn't help, but if I stick with my diet and keep moving all week (gonna need that daily cup of coffee!) surely the scale will budge within a few days?!  I'm SO close to my goal but it's coming down to the wire now.

How will I stay on track when this DietBet ends?  I could do another one... I could lose another 4 or 10 percent and still be at a safe BMI, but I don't know if I can or want to lose the weight quickly enough to win the bet.  

Breakfast today was asparagus and poached eggs.  I like poached eggs but it's weird to eat them without bread or rice or at least salad.  And asparagus is not really in season so it wasn't that great.  But it's 10:30 now and I'm not starving yet, so that's one good point.
