This game had 134 winners in Round 5, in a pot that 452 people contributed to. That's a 29.65% win rate (a little higher than average). Normally in Round 5, a higher percentage of people win than in Round 4, reflecting people catching up with the lower goal, but this isn't the case this time. Yet another impact of the holiday parties? However, this game continues to have stronger than average competitors. Winners got $32.10 each (about $2.50 less than average). People who have won each round have now made $130.84 (about $20 less than average). The game lost about 2.38% of players this round, for a natural attrition total of 13.08%. The first number is a bit lower than average, the second a bit higher than average.
Now for the fun projections. 179 people qualified for the final round (although this number may change a bit in the next few days). That's 34.42% of the people that started the game and 39.60% of the people who were playing in Round 5. Both of these numbers are higher than average - serious players.
If all 179 people make 10% by the end of Round 6, a winning share should be about $130. In the games that have already ended, about 83% of the people actually make it, which would bring the winning share to about $157. Good luck, everyone. I know I mean to be making it. :)
