Yesterday was the start of my 2nd week of carb cycling and I have to say that so far it is working amazingly for me. I always did well when I did Atkins hard core but the problem was that it just became to much to bear, I mean, I NEED CARBS! The fact that carb cycling lets you have them every other day seems to be exactly what I needed to be able to still have some fruit or bread and lose weight.
At my 1-week post official wigh in I was down 7.4 pounds and since Sunday morning (even after my free day) I am down another 2.4. I know there is water weight involved but for the first time in about 6 months I have finally figured out how to get the numbers to start going in the opposite direction.
