So I want to write a blog post every day. Not because I think have something noteworthy to put out there, hey if I knew it all I wouldn't be on dietbet, I'd be rocking my goal weight right now, but because I want to keep this at the forefront of my mind. I don't want this to become something on the back burner again because life got in the way.

I'm far from perfect and make many excuses even when I'm showing up consistently in other ways, this isn't going to be about knocking myself but rather about being positive, acknowledging where I'm slipping and asking for support in my darkest moments. Honestly I don't know that losing 10% of my body weight is something I can even do. I've been trying to lose 10lbs for two years to get back to my skinny old self. My trainer says that is unrealistic because my body is denser with age and if I can get 7lbs down and keep it off until next year then I can try for the rest. Well this challenge would put me at about 116lbs when I'm done and I haven't weighed that since maybe 7yrs ago? So we'll see what is ultimately achievable.
