So since my last post about being a meatatarian, I have since been gearing up for my daily shakes. I have already tried a few, including one recommended by Marcie a fellow Dietbetter and it was great.

I also enjoyed  a peanut butter banana smoothie that was great for an after workout drink yesterday especially since I really maxed out on my arms and weights. It was actually alot better than Tropical Smoothie's version!

Well, gearing up for my smoothies, I took an idea from a website I was looking at and since alot of my recipes called for Greek yogurt, I went ahead and measured out a heaping tablespoon of the yogurt and poured it into a mini muffin pan and froze them. Once frozen, I just popped them out of the tray and put them into a ziploc bag and stored them together in the freezer for later use. So now I can just pop one or two of these into my smoothie blend along with some other frozen fruit for a nice cool treat.

As far as my freezer goes, I am fully prepared with my individual frozen fruit to pull from. Bananas, strawberries, blueberries, frozen yogurt, what I think are grapes - purple kind, and what I think is pineapple... come on.. I'm a meatatarian.. I hardly know what this fruit and vegetable stuff looks like.
