It can be a scary thought to get other's feedback on you, especially if you're in the work place, the big thing with getting feedback is that you may actually have to do something with it, like make improvements or change habits or how you interact but it can be pretty useful too!
Even though many of us feel like failures, and have the coulda, woulda, shoulda tape playing over and over in our brains, we are all good at things, even just some things, and we all have something to offer.
The purpose of relationships is meant to bring out the best in each other. And I mean any type of successful relationship. It could be a friendship, work relationship, mentor relationship, it doesn't have to be purely romantic. Other people are meant to see that in us which we cannot see ourselves, thereby helping us to reach our full potential.
It's ok to reach out and solicit feedback. How else will you reach your full potential? Be it weight loss or anything. If you're feeling down on yourself today get some feedback and analyze how you can put that to good use to move forward on this journey when you most feel like taking steps back.
Happy Monday!
