I find that I often avoid stepping on the scales because I don't want to see the truth. The truth is that I like to eat junk food (chocolate and potato chips especially) and don't really embrace eating healthy foods. I went through a class called The Daniel Plan that had lots of great information about foods and clean eating.
I would like to put some of what I learned into practice, but in order to do that I need to make the time to really prepare fresh foods and stay away from the junk. I have my vegetable steamer located and plan to start using it again.
Stepping on the scales more often may make me a little more mindful of what I am eating. Good luck to everyone in this DietBet. I hope we all reach our goals!
