I remember reading a book a few years ago about a woman who fell pregnant unexpectedly, in spending time justifying how she would manage with a child on her own she paid special attention to friends with small children. Her conclusion was that raising kids was all about buying the right products. The right toys, the right DVDs etc. I'm sure we've all been there where we stocked up on baby Einstein only to have life take over and regular tv become a habit for our kids!

So where am I going with this? Well we live in a very consumer oriented environment. It's how the perfect world economy is expected to operate - households consume, that in turn provides opportunity to provide products thus creating jobs and we work those jobs, make $ and spend it back on the products in this endless cycle. No matter how much we wish for simplification, this is the modern world that we live in.

So what if our success is really related to buying the right products and continuing to do so? For example even small things like reading fitness magazine instead of Rachel Ray? You're more than likely going to act on cooking that steamed fish instead of that double cheese angus burger. Point is products influence us and affect us more than we think.

To take this a step further to the philosophical level, think of what some universal laws state (and I'm not writing this to get into a debate over personal views, it either resonates or doesn't) - for eg: that which you are manifesting you should act as if you already have it, or that which you have faith in should be associated with works and deeds that reflect that faith.

So if you have faith in your success in this, which is believing in something yet unseen, how will your deeds support that faith? How will your actions in making choices with what you bring into your life, be it grocery shopping or the media you expose yourself to, ensure you realize your goal?

Happy Friday!
