4AM my alarm went off and that is the time my son starting his hike back from the Crucible. By 6:54AM my phone was binging constantly as the parents, family and friends I've gotten to know added my name to posts to make sure I saw them. (Okay, maybe facebook isn't so bad.) Following the "chat vision" I was bawling with everyone else as the leader was walking through the steps our new Marines were making. That was interesting on the treadmill. LOL Around 7:30AM my son was on parade deck as they placed his EGA in his had and he became a new Marine of the United States of America. :') 

Motivating doesn't describe it. I ran like I haven't run in a long time and I could keep going but I have so much to still do for his homecoming. So running and a little arms weights on the treadmill for an hour will suffice today. ;-)

I weighed in today. Lost 1.8lbs.

Food yesterday:

Protein Shake, Oatmeal, Soup, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Rice Cakes, Vitamins, Cashews, Almonds, Marshmallows, Stuffed Shells, Chicken, and veges. 

End of the week reflection:

My thing to do this week was increase activity. CHECK!!! My food intake isn't wonderful, but a lot better than it was before....baby steps, more likely to continue that way. ;-) Overall, I am pleased. And there was a lose. I didn't expect much because after water weight it is VERY difficult for me to lose. And since I lost water weight a long time ago... well, I am happy with my lose. :-)

This week's Goal:

Continue to increase activity. Starting getting more veges and fruit in and eat healthy snacks during travel. This week is going to be challenging because I will be getting my son and he will be home this week and next. BUT I can do it!!!!
