I started Diet Bets last month with the excitement of the new year and it was great! I lost a little over 10 pounds and woke up each morning excited to look at the diet bet game updates. I started writting a daily blog to stay motivated. Since the second month things have been less exciting... I don't think I have enough to say to write a daily blog everyday for six months... but I do very much miss the interaction of this site. I figured I might as well TRY to write a little something each day, if only to give myself some time to reflect on my goals, my progress so far, and any challenges I'm having. The current challenge being this second month lull!
I've been very carefully eating healthy this month and just got a Jawbone UP to help me keep track of activity. The scale hasn't shown anything postitve yet, but I figure it's just a plateau, and will pass. Being healthy has at least become part of my routine again and in the long run I know I will see results.
I'm going to take the little dog I'm watching for a friend for a nice long walk now and head to the post office. Then I'm going to make some plans for Valentines Day. My boyfriend and I decided to stay in, so I want to do something special here. I'm thinking a nice chocolate fondue! That doens't sound like diet food, but I think I've earned a treat for the month. Besides, scheduled treat days are good for morale. :-) Hopefully I will feel renewed after that and my blogs might be interesting... maybe. Haha.
