I've been doing really well losing weight everyday. My co-workers invited me out to a birthday celebration last night and I had a great time. It was the first time I have had beer since I started losing weight and I had a steak Quesadia. At the end of the night I wound up at sonic and had a burger. This Morning I new I had gained weight but like I posted before you can't be afraid of the scale. I weighed myself and I gained 4 pounds. No big deal, I am not going to go in the tank, I am not going to get mad. I am going to do my workout today and get right back into my good habits. Things happen, we can't let it break us or discourage us. My shorterm goal is to lose that gain and more. Here is to accountability. We are not going to win everybattle, but we need to win the war.

At least you know it isn't really fat. One night filled with goodies will mostly just cause water weight gain and such. After a few healthy days I bet you will be right back where you were. Occasional treat nights are good for morale in the long run :-)
