When I did a diet a few years ago, I dropped a little over 40 pounds. And although I was 40 pounds lighter, I didn't feel it or see it in the mirror. So I found a list of what things weigh. 

I had basically lost a 5 gallon bottle of water. Those suckers are heavy. That put my success into perspective. So I decided it was time to revisit that list.

Since diet bet started, I have lost a car tire. Hubby has lost more than an average 2 year old toddler. Collectively, we have lost a small bale of hay. And thats in 5 weeks. I am hoping my total loss by the end of diet bet is a gold brick. I think hubby can lose a newborn calf by then.
