Good morning!

 

Finally feeling better!  Yesterday was another rest day, just laying low and finally eating a little food - by evening I was totally fine and back to normal. I also started the Whole 30 diet yesterday - no alcohol, grains, legumes, dairy, sugar.  I essentially eat like this anyway, but have little treats here and there - just for this month I'm going to be strict with myself and try to recalibrate my system. I've been getting sick a lot lately and also think I have some kind of food allergy - I get bloated a lot and I'm pretty sure I'm a bit lactose intolerant, so I want to see how I feel when I just clean the slate and keep my diet very simple.  It's not going to be easy but I'm motivated, I want to clear up whatever's causing this.  I feel like it'll be easier in March, there's hope now - there's a tiny bit of daylight left when I get out of work at 6 and it's not quite as dark and bleak, spring is coming soon!  The hardest part will be giving up dark chocolate, and yogurt.  I can do anything for one month though, it's not forever!  I also have a friend doing it with me, so that helps with accountability.  I'm excited to see the results.
