This was my workout with the trainer tonight - It MURDERED ME!!! I've done my share of whining quite a bit this last week about the pain Joy was putting me through - but tonight took the prize. First time I felt pure defeat.. It happened during the leg lifts.

By the time I got to the leg lifts my capabilities (for the mid section) had pretty much run their course.. Somewhere in the second set though it wasn't pain I was dealing with - it was the disappearance of entire muscle groups. It was as if all the muscles in my mid section had just up and said "To hell with this I'm out of here!" and left. Half way up the legs just fell right back down.

She was kind on me though and let me split it up (mixed) with the crossovers. First times gotta be the worst time right? This was for sure the workout I dreaded the most - it's a section of my body I've neglected the most in my whole life - and the one that most certainly needs the most attention. I'll keep up the good fight!
