So I blogged earlier that I knew how to count, meaning that counting calories was going to be my method of losing the weight. And that worked well the first few weeks, but then some time past and the number wasn't changing.
Earlier in my life calorie counting worked, but now that I am 59, it isn't enough. Losing muscle as you age is real folks.
So I started increasing my step count to whatever it ended up being in a day, to 10,000/day. The number remained the same and it was nearing the end of another week. Fear started creeping in. But I didn't let it take over yet. I paid particular attention to keeping track of the calories, consuming more water, and increasing my steps to 15,000/day.
Ta-da, the number went down!
Okay, so I have more things to do than counting....actually I don't. I just have more things to count. :-)
