My day started awesome today. Mostly because I packed my lunch and my gym bag last night and just had to grab them on the way out the door and didn't have to even think twice about what to throw together on the fly.
Except that I left my sneakers at home. Oops.
Normally here is where the "my life is a mess - the world is ending" claims would come in.
But have no fear, my bootcamp instructor - and coworker - was really awesome and switched up the class today just so I could join in on the "fun." I feel spoiled. We used resistance bands instead of weights and this girl just wore her socks (and bare feet for one part). I still worked up a sweat and my booty keeps reminding me that I did NOT mail in that workout.
After bootcamp, I crushed some leftover bruschetta chicken for lunch with a side of quinoa and I'm ready to attack this afternoon.

P.S. Bruschetta chicken is a new fave of mine that we threw together with leftover (un-cut) tomatoes from salsa last weekend and basil that has finally started growing in the yard. Grill your favoriate marinated boneless skinless chicken breasts and top with bruschetta tomatoes. We use about 2-3 plum roma tomatoes, a clove of garlic, fresh basil leaves, and a splash of balsamic vinegar. Let those flavors blend together in the fridge for a little bit. It's light and yummy!
