Ok, I am not exactly a fast runner. In fact, I don't really pay attention to my speed. What I try and focus on is continuously running for a set amount of time. On Monday, I had a much better run than I did last Friday (the heat was scorching and I walked more than I would have liked), but for some reason I could not bring myself to get out of bed on Wednesday. I was exhausted from doing absolutely nothing the day before. I wasn't to bothered by my skip though because it was the first one in 5 weeks. But when I woke up this morning I contemplated not going again! I about clocked myself for losing focus and immediately got ready for my run.

Now I usually use RunKeeper to keep track of my distance and time and every 5 mins it lets me know how I am doing. I had started off my run at a normal pace and was a little surprised when RK said I was running a 9.5 minute mile. Usually I run a 12 minute mile. I don't know where the speed came from but I ended up running 2 miles in 20 minutes. Not only that but I ended running my longest distance of 3.1 miles in 35 minutes today. I don't even know where that came from. I felt like I was going my average 12 minutes/mile. I felt quite proud of myself afterwards.

So, basically today started on a good note. And its Friday!
