I have 12.2 pounds to lose. I can use all the help I can get so I decided to start tody. My plan is to keep it simple. Slim fast for b-fast and lunch and a sensible dinner. I am fleshing that out with fresh produce from the garden. I stuck to my plan today and I'm happy about that. Usually in the evenings after dinner, my brain goes into "eat everything" mode. It's really difficult to reel that in. I know you are not suppose to reward yourself with food but I kinda did anyway. I told myself that if I ate well today I could enjoy a glass of wine. Being a busy mom of 2 crazy boys, I live for my wine in the evenings. Instead of having the glass of wine right after dinner, I waited until my brain calmed down and got out of the eat everything mode. After the urge went away I had my drink and now I feel satisfied. It's funny how such a strong urge to eat everything in sight can disappear rather quickly.

Sign in to CommentSlim fast is doing ok. I eat other things with it to flesh it out. I usually put a cup of Frozen berries in it. It's really yummy that way. I'm also eating a lot of low=calorie bulky foods such as lettuce and cabbage. That makes me feel full. Did you know that an entire head of cabbage is only 168 calories? I love cabbabage. I ate the whole head throughout the day yesterday and I felt pretty full all day.
Good job Jennie! Let me know how the Slim-Fast works. Does it stick to your ribs enough? I'm afraid I'd still be hungry. Very very proud of you for sticking to your plan!
