I am new to dietbet, just signed up for a transformer and submitted the first weigh in picture. I don't have a full length mirror at home so I never saw myself like that before. Let's just say it's not pretty. On the contrary: a brutal reality check. Somehow I kept on telling myself that just because my BMI is over 30 and that means I am ofically obese - I don't necessarily look fat. how delusional I was...
But there is no point in whining about it. In the meantime i found a crosstrainer on (the swiss version of) craigslist for 30 dollars (!!!, i must have been really lucky, they usually go for about 10x that). While watching TV yesterday night i did so on my new machine - no more excuses :D
How did your first weigh in picture make you feel?

Sign in to CommentHey. I don't have a full mirror either. I always take a double take when I see myself in stores or at the gym. I feel so much smaller...*LOL...Maybe because for someone my size I am still much more active than most people think of "FAT" people. I started off at 350 pounds three years ago. Sadly...when I started this challenge I started at 328 pounds...that is how much weight I lost in three years. Butttttttt....I now weigh 315 and with my determination and the extra help with DietBet...because ohhh I hate to lose money!! I will get rid of my fat...*smileAnd so can you..I am morbidly obese and I am about to change that....and if I can do this...ohh so can YOU. We can all do this together *smileGOOD LUCK...let's get this done

Mine made me cringe and begin to wonder how my husband can even stand looking at me lol. Keep up the awesome work and put that $30 to good use. Wear it out!

I can totally relate, but you're making awesome progress just by trying! My first weigh in picture for DietBet came after taking progress pictures for 60+ days, so it wasn't as surprising... but my before picture really made me go OH... It's a journey though, you'll get there!
