[DAY 2: My legs are back!!]

 

It's been 2 days. 48 little hours since I quit sweets, coffee, and cheese..(Yeah I am French, and I can tell you it is a very big deal) And I already feel the change.

I woke up at 4.45 to go running my 5 miles in the freezing cold. I hesitated and I thought about it twice when I realized it was 32F her in Savannah. But I remembered my goals and I remembered that I couldn't quit running this year. I have a half-marathon in 12 weeks, no time for laziness. I tell you, the first minutes were not fun...at all. And then, I felt that amazing energy I had forgotten and my legs were finally back on track. Also for the 1st time, I didn't listen to any music during this 40 minutes run: the nightmare I thought it would be, became a real fun way to letting go my thoughts. A REAL FUN !! Finally, I can tell it was a perfect way to improve my pace and my strides.

So tomorrow will be another challenging day: it is a low carb day. I have a cycling class on the plan and I teach gymnastics until 7 pm tomorrow night. Let's say it will be a very long day...I guess my bottle of water will be my best friend against cravings...
