I was a very thin girl when I grew up. Everyone called me 'kutchi manushi' which means stick girl. after marriage I gained weight nearly 10kgs. And then with pregnancy i gained 22kgs more. 83kgs was my heaviest. For a person who has never been overweight in entire, this was too difficult. I got all joint pain, back pain , I wasn't able to lie down or get up. After giving birth to my beautiful angel I lost few kgs.

Just few kgs. Even after 2yrs I was still carrying my pregnancy weight  with 78kgs. Still wearing pregnancy clothes. Felt so depressed and sad. I started my weight loss journey and lost 15kgs. I was happy but then the weight loss plateau got me depressed. Even after following the diet plan and workout I was not losing even a gram of weight for 2 months.

This weight loss plateau was something new to me. I thought this was the limit and I can't lose any more, which got me depressed and I started eating again and gained weight. 72kgs again. Shopping was a pain everything got me depressed..Wearing a dress or finding a dress I like .. everything. So again I started weight loss and again hit a plateau at 64 and again came back 74.

In Jan 2016, I got introduced to dietbet through Instagram. I follow  weight loss pages over there for motivation and I saw an ad for one of the dietbets that was starting on Jan 2016. At first I was sceptical but then I thought let me give it a try. I prayed and then joined the dietbet (starting weight 73.8). From then on no turning back. This time I did hit my plateau and because of it I did lose 2 dietbets. But then I didn't give up like I used to. Dietbet was holding me accountable. So I kept pushing and finally broke my weight loss plateau(65kgs) and right now am 63.5 kgs.

Since joining dietbet I have been trying out many new workouts and diets. Hiit workouts, cardio - running , weight training , dancing and it's very exciting. Every workout has different effects on my body and now am doing kind of research on myself by combining what kind of food and workout work for me. I have never been an athlete or never worked out but this weight loss journey is making me into a new person i have never been. Full of energy and positive vibes. The attitude of wanting to learn something new and trying them out is awesome. I got that attitude through this journey. I still haven't reached my goal body or weight but I am on the way to.

This is the first time I am writing a blog so your inputs are valuable to me. Thanks for reading. All the best on your healthy journey.
