This is my first blogpost here and i wanted to share i really delecious recipe that is healthy and really easy to make: A Potato-Carrot Soup with Bacon. I know what you are thinking Bacon? I have heard both people talk for and against bacon in diets and truth be told i dont really care. I know for a fact that after eating this for dinner i always lose weight (if i havent eaten any bad stuff the rest of the day). Normally i dont really like to eat that many callories when i diet, but i'll give Potato and full wheat pasta my seal of aprovel any day! (I have lost around 45 kiloes in the past so i know what im talking about!) Anything can be unhealthy for you if you eat enough of it, so try to keep your potions to a minimum.
Well anyway here is the recipe, hope you'll like it :)! (This will recipe will feed two adults and even leave a little extra for a healthy lunch the day after)
For the soup you will need:
300g / 10.58 Oz of Potato
350 / 12.34 Oz of Carrot
2 Onions
1 liter of vegetable bouillon
and a blender!
Chop the vegetables and fry the on a pan for 5-10 min. Put in a pot and add the vegetable bouilon and let it cook for 10-15 min. Take the vegetable (leave the bouilon in the pot) and blend it in your blender. mix it together with the bouilon and cook it for 3-5 min.
The bacon topping:
You will need:
Bacon
2-4 carrots
First take your carrots and make them into thin strips. fry bacon and carrot strips on a pan and thats it!
