Completed my first Dietbet challenge and won!
Tougher then I thought...I worked out just about everyday. Running 3-5 miles every other day and hitting the gym (doing light cardio and weight lifting) the other days. Managed to run a couple 10K's again but my times were terrible.
I had some big gaps between weigh-ins. Is this common? The difference between a night weigh-in versus a morning weigh-in would vary as much as 4-5 pounds.
Added the Runtastic sit-up app to my phone and enjoy using it. I followed the training program and noticed after a week that I was doing more sit-ups and they were getting easier.
I cut down on food and tried to cut down on beer. Its really tough as a homebrewer to not have a few tasters...actually the day before the weigh-in I was brewing and pulled a muscle in my back transfering 5 gallons of wort (un-fermented beer). I've spent the last 4 days applying heat and it seems to be getting better, but I haven't been able to workout. I might try and get in the gym today to do some light cardio.
Today is National IPA Day so I might have to celebrate my win with a beer. All in all a great experience and I've already signed up for my next challenge.
