Non-scale victory of the week!

Ok, I’m back after a really stressful 2018. I managed to lose almost 90 lbs. in 2018, but I let my emotions take over as I was caregiving for my mom, and I gained just about all of it back, in a very short time. I’m so disappointed in myself. I gave up caregiving to focus on me, so I’m going to work on emotional eating and get it conquered. Emotional eating has been the problem practically my whole life. It’s why I have a weight issue in the first place. Jesus take the wheel and heal me of this once and for all. Setting down my emotional baggage right here.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I haven’t been doing anything right since Sept. so I actually made a step in the right direction...I joined my first Dietbet of 2019, to start the year off. Let’s do this!!

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

Tonight I am celebrating the New Year then tomorrow I will weigh myself, and begin drinking my water, and eating fruits, veggies, nuts, legumes... plant based foods and see what happens.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Been feeling very emotional this past month due to my son moving out to go to college. He’s my baby and I will need to learn to be an empty nester. Lots of emotional eating and not being very good at my food choices. I gained a few pounds but not too many that it caused me to lose this round.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

I just need to take notice when I get emotional, and not run to food for comfort. Journal my feelings instead of eating them.

Swimsuits are way looser! Yay!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Drink a tad more water.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

Last week when I weighed myself, I weighed in the middle of the day so I weighed heavy. I had a lot of work to do to make today’s weigh in. Water has been my best friend! Walking more now too, has really helped me too. My goal is to keep going!

Non-scale victory of the week!

This past month I gained quite a bit of weight due to my back going out and not being able to do much, and eating way more calories than I should have. The best part of the week is when God healed my back instantly as a gentleman from my church prayed for me. That, my friends, is priceless!!!

I went to the coast with my hubby and really indulged. I didn’t even count my calories so I gained quite a bit. Not happy about the gain so I need to re-focus and get back on track.

Non-scale victory of the week!

Back on track and seeing the scale move after a big battle with being 11 days late, and still waiting to see if Aunt Flow is going to come or not. I had gained a few pounds, like several so now the scale is being kinder.
