Definitely seeing changes in the way my clothes fit.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Just tried carb cycling for the first time to see if I could break a mini stall. Had sweet potato fries with bun less burger last night. Down 2 lbs this am!!!

Face getting slimmer, back fat decreasing.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Went to doctor. Had labs drawn. Cholesterol and BP were high. Go back in 3 weeks to convince him that keto is ok. Hopefully BP will be better.

Non-scale victory of the week!

My only cheat this week was eating 2 bites of a cookie that a coworker made and brought to work. While it was technically something that I’m not supposed allow myself right now, I took the 2 bites and threw the rest away. Also, went to a favorite brunch spot with a friend and stayed totally on plan with my keto woe and didn’t feel deprived.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Didn’t drink enough water on some of my work days 12 hour shifts in a hospital are not conducive to drinking/ being able to go to the bathroom frequently.

Eat more vegetables and try to drink more water st work.

I continue to do very low carb, high fat with little temptation which is shocking to me. Went to a Mexican restaurant with friends and the only time I had to show a little bit of restraint was in not eating chips with salsa. I had a very rich meal drenched in cheese and sour cream and guacamole and was very satisfied with what I ate.

Honestly, I’m killing it right now.

Non-scale victory of the week!

This victory is all about the scale. When I started this I wasn’t even thinking of doing keto. I had a few friends who lost a lot of weight in a little bit of time and I started looking into it. After signing up I decided to start keto. I’ve been on this for three full days and I have lost 18.8 pounds. I still am in shock about this. Batteries are brand new in my scale. I’ve never had a weight loss like this! I definitely can tell looking at my face and stomach.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

My challenge has been keto rash versus possible allergies. I’ve had a horrible rash ever since the first night and have been clawing my skin. Antiistamines seem to have helped so I’m going to try eliminating eggs from my diet since I have been eating a lot of them on this way of eating. I hate to think that I would have to get rid of eggs all the time since it is what has made me lose this much weight, but If getting rid of them fixes the rash and then I will have to figure it out.

Keep it up. If I need sweets, do a fat bomb. Stay away from processed carbs.
