I started my weight lose journey in January of 2017 after realizing I had hit a size I never thought I would see. In the last year I have lost 40 of the 50 lbs. I had set as my overall goal. I am hoping the extra motivation will help me succeed.

Non-scale victory of the week!

A NSV for me this week was doing a Zumba workout I haven't done in awhile, and being able to keep up with much better than I could before.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have stayed away from sweets better this week. The other half was gone for three days and I had a hard time staying away from the Halo Top because he wasn't there to say something.

My non scale victory for this week was realizing I am going to have to get a smaller size in pants before too long.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

My diet probably could have been better for lunch this week. Headed back to salads, and healthier lunch options.

My non scale goasl this week is to work towards more toned arms and abs.

I could have been better at resisting the extra treats brought into work, and sticking to just the healthy options in my lunch bag.

Long-term goal weight

What do you find most challenging in reaching your long-term weight loss goals?

I started my weight lose journey a year ago and I've found the most challenging thing for me is my love of food. I love being in the kitchen, especially baking and I need to learn to better keep my portion size under control.
