Non-scale victory of the week!

I had broke into the 170's, just by half a pound. I realize that's a "scale" victory technically, but to me it was more a mental breakthrough. Unfortunately, when weighing in officially I was up just over 180 but that's ok, I still made it!

Finally got on the elliptical machine again since around Thanksgiving!

Non-scale victory of the week!

Huge for me is that my BMI is under the Obese level of 30!!! My eating was good enough to lose weight even though I didn't work out.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I was sick the beginning of the week. Not working out for a couple days due to that led to not working out at all.

Got my 5 workouts in and increased the intensity on the elliptical and the number of minutes!

Not give in to the Halloween candy at work.

Cant think of anything good this past week.

I gave in too much this week. Not to food necessarily, although I did eat 2 candy bars. But I didn't get on the elliptical even once!

Didn't go nuts eating or drinking this week between bets.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

However, didn't keep working quite hard enough to make that scale keep going down either. Ended last diet bet a couple pounds less than I'm starting the new one.

Unbelievable how a strong finish took me over the edge! I am very happy with myself. It's the longest I've stuck with healthy habits in a long time! I'm going to do this again.

Non-scale victory of the week!

Well I had a weekend away w my husband planned for the last weekend of the dietbet. I walked about 40k steps in 48 hrs. Ate salads and shrimp, eggs for breakfast. Did have a couple rum drinks w juice in them. Did eat 2 slices of pizza on the last day. But c'mon!, so better than I would have done even 2 months ago! Oh, also got my period on Sunday. So, I'm not sure I'm going to win the actual bet. BUT the nsv for me is that I have made good choices 90% of the time in the past 4 weeks and I am VERY happy about that!

Drink even more water I guess.
