Happy Monday, Rockstars! 🌟

Mondays are magic—they’re a fresh start, a clean slate, and the perfect opportunity to set the tone for the week ahead. It doesn’t matter what happened over the weekend; what matters is what you decide to do today.

✨ Here’s your Monday mantra:
“I am in control. I am capable. I am committed to my goals.”

Think about one small, powerful step you can take today to honor your health. Maybe it’s an extra glass of water 💧, adding veggies to your breakfast

I had a tough weekend and already slipped a little with lunch, but I brought very healthy options for dinner and will get more light movement in today!!

Elaina E.

Exceeded my water goal and had extra veggies at lunch and dinner.

Do you ever feel like you are mourning your old self that used food for comfort? Anyone know what I mean? Like once u have all the tools and u realize that you ate for emotional reasons so now you have to face what you ate for?

For sure! My go to simple strategies are deep breathing and journaling. Things that give my brain some space to process.

Melissa W.

Absolutely. I have been working on what else brings me comfort when I’m stressed and feeling like I want that food comfort. I like to find food substitutes - Ilana has some good ones (I love her mug cakes). I also have been trying to find other things that help me - taking walks gets me moving in the simplest way and gets me away from the kitchen. Journaling has helped clear my mind too. Keep looking for ideas that help you.
Even if you don’t feel like it at first, try something new. After you do it, you can see if it works or if you can cross it off your list. You’ve got this!

I’m two pounds away from my goal! Yikes. I hope I can make it. How’s everyone else feeling/doing as we get closer to the end of the Diet Bet?

I’m losing! lol. Last week I was like yeah, I got this. Womp womp! I’m in good spirits bc this diet bet is helping be mindful and focused! That’s the first step. I’ve been more active and happier for it. I feel proud. Good luck to you!

RaeCrane

I am about 2 pounds away, as well. I've been losing about 2 lbs a week, so I should reach my goal this month!

  • Did two lava pre burn workouts today. A little slower so felt like I could double it, will not be doing that in the program! 😅

I’m at a plateau and at this point can’t see myself dropping the 10 I need in the time we have. But staying consistent this time of year and not seeing the scale go up still feels like a win! 🏆

LAVA is great! I am on Week 5 of round 2. So impressed you did two pf the pre-burn, I found the pre-burn to be more difficult than the rest of the program. Go you!

Helen V.

Oh that’s good to know! I was so awkward.

Not always easy to stay motivated even with progress . I try zoom out and see how far I have progressed. It’s not a race

Valerie M.

Had a WLW and then gained. The weight is coming off slow and I am okay with that as long as it keeps going down. Probably won’t reach my goal weight this time around and again that’s okay. I will get there. I want to do this in a healthy way.

I’m good about overall water, but need to remember water first (before eating). Here’s to making sure I get in 100oz today (incl 16oz before every meal!)

  • My weight is up about 5 pounds from start day. I am bloated. I am focusing on my health esteem today. I am 2 water bottles in, one walk/jog down (2 miles), and a plan for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I will kick this bloat. I will feel better throughout the day. I will wake up to weight loss. I am here for myself.

Same. I know why, the last couple of nights I have not been dinner and done. Plan to do better and increase my water!

Hi Everyone not sure what happen with the post-it didn't post the whole thing..

Hi everyone!

As we dive into this festive week full of family, friends, and food, let’s remind ourselves what we’re truly celebrating—connection, gratitude, and progress. Yes, progress! Even during Thanksgiving, you can enjoy your favorite foods AND stay on track.

✨ Here’s your game plan for the week:
1⃣ Plan Ahead: Think about what’s most important to you on the Thanksgiving table. Is it the mashed potatoes, the stuffing, or the pumpkin pie? Choose your “must-haves” and skip the things you can live without.
2⃣ Water First, Veggies Most: Start your meal with water and load your plate with colorful veggies before diving into the richer dishes. You’ll feel fuller faster and make room for balance.
3⃣ Savor the Moment: Eat slowly and mindfully. This is your chance to enjoy every bite and every memory made around the table.

💡 Reminder: Your health journey doesn’t pause for the holidays—it evolves with it. Celebrate how far you’ve come and know that one meal doesn’t define your success. YOU define your success!

Share your Thanksgiving plan or what you’re most excited to eat in the comments below. Let’s inspire each other to make this week about joy and balance, not stress or guilt.

"Celebrate how far you've come and know that one meal doesn't define your success." Love that!

Elaina E.

Thanking is about gratitude. My family of 5 spends the day in the mountains snowboarding unless family is visiting or we go to family for Thanksgiving. We use the day to spend time together, being outside doing something together that is fun and good for us, and we discuss what we are grateful for and hopes for the future. In the spirit of the season I usually make some sort of healthy pumpkin sweet that can for into 2B and cranberry chutney that we can enjoy for a while after the holiday.
