For me, I tend to give myself a little bit of everything. If I am craving chocolate, I know I want something sweet. So, I might have a little bit of a fruit as a snack, if the craving can't wait, that is. Usually, cravings die off in a few minutes, maybe hours, but if it's really bad, and you want something sweet, go with fruit. Maybe, a piece of gum, which should be able to curb cravings for a while, as long as something is in the mouth.

I absolutely love sweets too, but I noticed since starting carb cycling and drinking water, my cravings have stopped. I still think of sweets but I'm not tempted right now :-) Good luck!
