What do you feel you could have done better this week?

This past week was my wedding anniversary followed by Labor Day, during which I did not strictly adhere to my diet. I gained a couple of pounds; but, no worries. I’m already back at it. I have discovered a dedication and accountability that was lacking for so many years.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I’m still not exercising regularly. On days when I don’t exercise I need to find ways to be more active. i’ve started parking in the furthest parking spot I can find to force myself to get extra steps each day.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I lost focus and cheated on my diet so many times this week. I need to be better at focusing on the end goal and not the immediate desire to eat unhealthy foods.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

As always, my goal is to start exercising. I exercised a lot in my teens and twenties. I always feel better after a workout; but, actually doing it seems like such a chore.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Twice this past week I gave into my cravings and ate a lot more than I had planned for those days. Now, I need to be incredibly disciplined for the next 3 days in order to achieve my goal at the final weigh-in. That’s so frustrating.

All of the pants I bought earlier this year are starting to hang on me. It’s time to find that box of smaller pants that I put in storage years ago.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I have been doing intermittent fasting for a couple of months now. It works well for me. Typically, I eat one meal a day. I try to eat that meal between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Occasionally, I will go out for lunch with co-workers. When I do that, I have a lot of cravings at night. That happened twice this week.
