Someone commented on my last post saying implement ways to stay consistent that don't require willpower. What comes to mind for me is meal prepping, which I don't do but really should.. I just dont buy junk food and when I'm stressed ill reach for a wonder whip rather than a regular sweet.
Anyone have other ideas?

I always make sure I have a ton of veggies (that i ENJOY eating) cooked and ready to go in my fridge so that if i end up being more hungry than usual, or go to reach for a snack im always starting with veggies

It's not always fun but it is effective. I try to eat the same food most of the time. A lot of people go out of their way to eat something different frequently when it's not necessary. In reality, it takes less willpower to repeat the same thing over and over. Pick a few healthy meals, practice a few healthy practices, and repeat. Add variety occasionally to keep things interesting and reward yourself.

Flavored water ideas, please

I found out that I have a mild intolerance to eggs. This is a challenge for me since my go-to lunch has always been an egg casserole with veggies. I am wondering if I should avoid eggs all together or if it’s still OK to have some, since my intolerance is minor. Also not sure what other people have that is healthy, easy to incorporate veggies, and big batch meal prep on the weekend ahead for lunches during the work week that does not have eggs. Any suggestions?

Asked my husband to come on a drive with me to go to Target to pickup some Kidfresh chicken meatballs (YUM). He drove and stopped at Dairy Queen on the way home. Took everything in me not to order something, but I’m so proud of myself for holding my ground. I’m very lucky he isn’t a food pusher 😅

I have been doing se well with dinner and done. Tonight I had a slip up. 5 grapes and a bite of tri tip. It happened so fast while I was putting together a plate for my grandson after his football practice. Not bad but, I blew my run with dinner and done.

**CHALLENGE ALERT**
HAPPY MONDAY ROCKSTARS!! Sometimes the trick to the next weight loss isn’t a new method but a new recipe. This week’s weight loss challenge is to make sure you eat 2 cups of veggies by 2 pm. This helps your weight as well as health and sense of control throughout the day. This Greek cauliflower rice recipe is one of my favorites and is full of a variety of veggies.

Thanks ladies! Yesterday was a somewhat win! I felt like I snacked at night but didn’t get home until til 730 due to kid activities. Already had my protein in the car for supper and did feel like I needed something when I got home so can of yellow beans it was. It was perfect, kinda still felt like my night time snack because of the time, but obviously a much better choice, and down a pound today!!!
