Low carb, high protein, no sugar, vegan, vegetarian, Mediterranean, paleo, heart-healthy, diabetic, basic healthy eating. There are so many choices. You have to find the one that's best for you.
The most important thing is, when you are trying to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you eat. Not necessarily by exercise, but by consuming fewer calories. Weight loss is determined more by what we eat than by how much we move.
I eat 3 meals one day, 2 meals the next. Protein.. chicken, fish, beef once a week..and veggies and 1/2 in my coffee. No white stuff… bread, rice, real sugar.
Dinner tonight was steamed mixed veggies, cottage cheese, & blackened salmon/shrimp. We use the blackened seasoning from Kroger & it's been such a game changer for flavor. When i first started my journey I used to think I didn't like alot of different foods such a certain fish/brussel sprouts, etc but I learned to keep experimenting & that i just had to figure out how I liked them cooked. Don't be afraid to try new things! What did you have?
