  • My dinner tonight. So good! Big salad with greens, sprouts, peppers, tomatoes, beets, and cucumbers. I topped it with simple chickpea and edamame salad and roasted pumpkin seeds for some protein. I dressed it with a little balsamic vinegar. If I’m still hungry I’m going to have an iq bar. I’ve said no to the lingering holiday sweets for two days now!

  • Delicious low carb option, I’ve tried Trader Joe’s brand and wasn’t a fan, definitely a hit. Sauce was made with some cream cheese and a little heavy cream and parm. I’m down for lower fat alternatives for the sauce put it was low carb haha. Added some jerk paste to kick it up a notch 😋😋😋

I am so embarrassed to be starting this DietBet heavier than the start of the last bet. I gained back all the weight I lost plus some from Christmas Eve to today. I got that sugar craving back sampling all those sweets and went off the rails. I can’t seem to get back on track. It’s time to clean out the kitchen! I’m hoping this group will motivate me to return to all the habits that have made me successful in the past. Good luck, everyone!!

Thank you, everyone! I’m devoting tomorrow to cleaning it out! I was going to today, but we’ve been without power due to the strong winds here in Southern California and I didn’t want to be in and out of the fridge. I really appreciate all the support here.

I said I’d post my meals for accountability so this is what I prepped and I’ll be eating every day this week
B: Green smoothie bowl
L: Cauliflower rice with turkey meatballs, Alfredo, nutritional yeast, and fruit
Afternoon snack: Eggs
D: Korean beef bowl: cauliflower rice, bok choy, and beef
Dessert: IQ bar cut up and warmed

I threw/gave away all the leftover holiday treats yesterday, so I feel like I’m having a sugar withdrawal but also love I’m not sluggish and bloated!

  • Made a ginormous pot of Mexican "albondigas" soup, which is just meatball soup with tons of chunky veggies! Going to be freezing some in my Souper Cubes so that my freezer also has healthy options that can pulled out and heated up in a pinch!

Well. We still have so much chocolate in the house. Less today. This is what I need to work on tomorrow. Today I had tasty plate it meals but let myself get too hungry and then went down the chocolate rabbit whole. I did get over a gallon of water today and alllll my steps, so I met three of my four goals and am ready to tackle Tuesday with renewed energy.
I can lose weight.
I will lose this weight.
I care to lose this weight.
My body loves losing weight, and so do I!
