I usually make absolute sure I'm in my calorie deficit. I make sure to eat and not starve. I eat carbs every day, even potatoes and bread, but starchy carbs hold water molecules, so I usually cut those out the last week if I'm struggling. Also, I make sure to keep sodium within range. You can do this, good luck!

Like the above said SarahR- intermittent fasting, break your fast with protein and healthy fats and fiber, avoid salt, and try to exercise more than you normally do, including walking more and walking faster!

Can I just say how much I hate that the scale moves up, even when I'm doing right... I keep telling myself, "you didn't gain 3 pounds yesterday". But sometimes it's really hard to turn off that inner voice telling me to "just give up and eat all the food, you're gaining weight anyways"

Don’t associate with the scale too much (as water retention, hormones etc fluctuate); have a GENERAL direction and that’s it. For weight loss focus on taking the right actions and what you look and feel like. :thumbsup:
