What do you feel you could have done better this week?
It was a tough week with me having to drive over a 1,000 miles over the weekend. I dropped my wife off on the north rim of the Grand Canyon so she could do the 27-mile rim-to-rim hike while I drove the 4.5 hours around the canyon to pick her up on the opposite side. Her hike took 14 1/2 hours so I killed some time in Flagstaff and only had one beer with lunch but sitting at the lodge at the south rim of the Grand Canyon for 3 hours I had a couple more beers while waiting. While I did good maintaining a low-carb diet with regard to the food I ate, the consumption of alcohol reduces my fat burning while in ketosis and was counter productive. I could have packed some hiking gear and gotten in a little bit of a hike on the south rim rather than sitting watching some hockey and drinking an IPA while waiting.
