Non-scale victory of the week!

I'm doing weight watchers as my weight loss plan. I had a craving yesterday for a meal that I almost always over indulge on. I always deprive myself of this meal then go crazy when I finally allow myself to have it. Yesterday I cooked 1 serving of it, ate it, and I was satisfied. I am trying to teach myself that I don't have to cut things out that I love, I just have to enjoy them in moderation!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Drink more water!

Non-scale victory of the week!

I really nailed meal prep this week. With a little meal prep, staying on track seems much less of a struggle!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I'm still struggling with my water intake. It's hard to drink the amount of water I like to aim for when it's cold out.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I was on vacation this past week. My non scale victory was to make smart choices when we went out to eat. I nailed it!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I feel like I made the best of my vacation. I used to treat going away as a free for all. The only thing I felt I was lacking was my water intake.

This week I was awarded a very high honor at work. Instead of celebrating with a night out with over eating and drinking, I celebrated with a hike and a been home cooked meal.

Long-term goal weight

165 lbs

What do you find most challenging in reaching your long-term weight loss goals?

Being consistent, I seem to do really well, or really bad. I need to work on finding a way to stick to portion sizes, and not deprive myself of the things I go overboard on when I let myself have them.
