Hi, I just joined DietBet and saw this group. I have lost 60 pounds over the last year and a half but hit a plateau 3 months ago. I have 17 more pounds until my 1st goal and I have tried many things. I am seeing a nutritionist who says I should just be patient... but that's not one of my best qualities. I have tried incorporating HIIT, changing my weight lifting routine, trying new activities and much more. Still would love to hear any suggestions and thoughts if I should join the 4 Week Diet Bet Challenge or if that will just discourage me. All thoughts welcome and I really hope I'm posting this in the right place.
I have been eating better and exercising for over a year ... down 106#'s but stuck there since having to take steroids for my Lupus this last summer. Went up 20#'s and there I am. Want to stay motivated, to lose the next 100 and reach goal. Any suggestions, and motivation would be greatly appreciated!
Can't seem to lose any after the holiday. Going to do the master cleanse for the next few days.

Morning Bradley. Got a shock this morning, my scales dropped 4 lbs overnight. Have .25 to go for Jillians dietbet so fingers crossed. I hope this is the plateau broken, it's been hard to keep the faith over the last month with so little progress. How about you?
My pounds went up a lot so I know its water retention, the 2 bowls of soup must had a lot of salt in it. If I drink my water today...it should normalize.

Well, down .2 pounds this morning. I'll take that, it could be the way it's gonna come off now, in tiny increments. I logged it anyway, psychologically it helps to see the chart go down, even a tiny bit!
Those vanity pounds are hard to conquer. So the best bet is to mix it it up. Change the variables that your body has came adapt too. Shake up your food habits but I don't know the answers. Happy to have you on board!
Hi Bradley. Same situation for me, I have plateaued at 129/130, have been at this for the past 3 weeks!! My goal is 126 but those thre/four pounds aren't shifting! I likely need to shake up my diet or workout. Any advice would be gratefully received!
