I've been counting macros with great success since May 2015. I will admit, November-December I was not so strict... So now it's time to get back on track!
I love counting macros! I feel like I have the freedom to eat whatever I want and not feel deprived of yummy treats. I came from an 80/20 paleo lifestyle and have found way more success with macro counting. I still try to hit most of my numbers with whole, clean foods. But it is nice to not feel guilty about having a slice of bread or a piece of cheese. Or chocolate!
My current numbers are P120, C150, F42. Once I get down to my goal weight I plan on upping my C just a little, and maybe some P--depending how my body handles the added increase in volume of my training.
