I've been doing green smoothies for a while now but thought I'd pop a picture in of the sort of produce I use for them! It's a bit hard to keep the carbs down when using fruit to sweeten green smoothies but at least it's still fruit.

An easy recipie for a green smoothie that doesn't have any spinach taste in it at all, for anyone who's interested in trying them out:

2 x cups/handfuls of spinach leaves
1 x small banana1 x peach/nectarine or 2 x apricots or 2 x kiwis
2 x cups water

Optionally (you'd add these for nutrients, doesn't seem to change the flavour much)

1/3 x cup berries
1 x tablespoon chia seeds

And that makes about 500ml or 2 cups of smoothie.
