So, it's official! The first step in my triathlon goals would probably be to sign up for a triathlon, so that's whatI did. It's late in the tri season but I found the Last Chance Triathlon in Douglasville, GA (couple of hours away) on October 5th! I've paid my money and I'm taking the plunge....no pun intended.

First DietBet week has been great. Used MyFitnessPal and FitBit to stay on track. The challenge begins tomorrow as I leave for a vacation. I plan to be active, but........

Went to CrossFit inspired workout this morning and the entire workout was completed with only one resistance band for equipment. And it WAS a workout. Hoping to challenge myself with some of those moves while I'm gone in addition to getting in my 10,000 steps.

It will also be the perfect time to start the tri training. At least the running and swimming and for me the running is tough! I've done a little run/walk this week but seriously, my run is so slow I'm not sure it can even be considered a jog.....more like a wog!
