Yesterday (Monday) was a good day. I ate well and I got my run in. It actually went really well. Seriously that’s the only thing it takes to make it good. My left knee hurt a bit during my run but it wasn’t anything serious. Taking that break was much needed apparently. Lol.

I was feeling a bit overwhelmed yesterday by the fact that I had 2.5kg to lose in 10 days but this morning I weighed in at 78.1kg. So, so close to my 77.9kg goal and its only Tuesday!!! Meaning I have 9 days to lose 1.7kg and that is totally possible.

I am confident now that I will be able to make Shaun’s dietbet. I also keep telling myself that I am reaping the benefits of giving up drinking for a while lol. I don’t care if it’s true or not but it helps me stick to it. I aim to get in two workouts per day this week. I know that it is totally possible and I will take it slow in order to ensure that I don’t injure myself. But I am pumped! I got this!

 

Nutrition:

  • Breakfast – Oatmeal with Crasins and Walnuts and Almond Milk
  • Lunch – Tofu Soup, Shumai, Seaweed, Rice
  • Dinner – Ruccola Salad, Crème D’anjou (it was so small and delicious!), Chicken Stirfry, Avocado and Salsa (rapidly becoming a favorite), Japanese Sweet Potato
  • Snack - 200g of greek yogurt with jam, protein shake

Water: 4 Liters

Sleep: 8 hours (NEEDED THAT!)

Exercise: 7.04km run (6:47/km)
