(Thursday)   

Yesterday was a really good day. It certainly didn’t start out that way though, lol. There was a typhoon that was set to arrive yesterday so when I woke up it was rather dark and cloudy. Throughout the day the wind picked up and it started to rain. Typhoon and running do not mix. Unless of course you go to the gym! (Which I did) I really enjoy going to the gym. I have one purpose and one purpose only when I go there. It’s like I develop tunnel vision. I recently started weight training and I really like it. I feel like my life is going to be a fun mixture of both. Right now I am obviously concentrating on running seeing as how I am running a half marathon at the end of this month and a marathon in October (hopefully I get the lottery!!) But after that’s done I think I will concentrate most of my energy on weight training. Also my nutrition yesterday was awesome! I’m sure if I had one more straight week of that awesomness I will make my goal for Jen’s diet bet with no problem! Also my water intake is up! YAY

 

Less than 20 days for my half marathon! GASP! Weighed in at 78 this morning...the clock is ticking...

 

Nutrition:

  • Breakfast: Plain Yogurt, Fresh Blueberries, Protein Bar, Almond Milk with Coffee
  • Lunch: Naan, Keema Curry, Sausages (School Lunch)
  • Dinner: Japanese Veggie Plate, Omlette, Somen
  • Snacks: Fruit Yogurt, Whole milk (100ml), boiled egg, protein shake

Water: 4.5 Liters (That gym is HOT and I sweat like no other while I am there, need to replace those fluids!)

Sleep: 7 hours

Exercise:  

  • Run 8.1km (7:11/km)
  • Strength training: 38 mins., 228 calories
